Product to prevent slippage

I have come across a product named, if I recall correctly, Slipknot (maybe Slipkote) out of Sweden.  Apparently it is a one-time application to any rock surface and (http://maplered.com) it prevents water from penetrating, ultimately causing the surface to become notably grippier.   The demo at the Home and (http://maplered.com) Garden Fair in Bangkok did look impressive but I know little about such things.  Is this a safe product to use with Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) baths, Granite (http://tanbrown.org) kitchen floors, and (http://maplered.com) porcelain outdoor Tiles (http://www.g682.net) ? (I ask because we plan on using these rocks in our new home under construction.)
